In describing my work, a term comes to mind: Naïve-Primitive. I love rendering works that celebrate the essence and beauty of nature, particularly animals in their natural habitat, using vibrant colors and simple compositions with bold strokes and line.
Born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, October 29th, 1947 and New York City resident since September 1968, I have since been doodling, drawing, and painting since the age of three with breaks here and there to attend military service in the 1960’s and pursue an acting career in the 1980’s where I met and befriended the legendary Jackie Curtis of Andy Warhol movie fame.
